Glorious!

I got a B for my IB class!

What a relief! And to think that I was getting really worried about getting another C for my major. 2 of them, in fact. Not a single one attained an A, but I'm just glad that it's done and over with! Now I can focus entirely on my corporate communications major, which I am truly, madly in love with!

Finally! Good riddance to Finance!!

And to all who have not seen the above (quite understandably, since it hasn't been released here yet), please go catch it! It is a beautifully made adaptation of Jane Austen's novel! I was greatly privileged to buy the novel and receive a pair of tickets to the primere at Shaw Towers tonight (coincidentally, I watched it with my mother, to her utmost delight). Prince 1 has astoundingly huge!!! The theatre could practically sit a thousand people easily, and there were purple drapes hanging all over the place! I wonder how much has gone into its maintenance. But they gave an extrodinarily posh look (I think it might have looked better if the curtains were maroon instead, but oh well) to the place. Unfortunately, the seats were not looked after as well, and the passageways between the seats were so cramped it made walking in between nearly impossible unless you actually stood up.

But aside from the crummy seats, Keira Knightley dd a a MARVELOUS job in portraying Lizzie. While her flat chest was very hard to ignore (no, seriously, it was), her performance was astounding! The music was pleasant, and every character - including Mr. Darcy - did the novel justice.

Well, maybe I shouldn't go as far as to admit that, because I couldn't finish the book in time (I'm still twenty chapters away!!!). But I'd made it as far as the disappearance of Lydia, so I pretty much covered everything. I'm not too sure about the ending, although I would like to think of it just as romantic. But of course, with a book, only the imagination can carry the story to its extremes. Hee!

I also got a call from iShop who said my computer was ready for pickup, and no charges were incurred (and there jolly well shouldn't be any - I didn't pay extra for the APP for nothing!).

So all in all, apart from the strange dream I had last night, my day went pretty well, I must say! Whee to that!
