At last, a much needed break!

Until Sunday, I will have time to clean my room, organize my stuff, watch some movies (I watched Prime this afternoon, and will catch the preview of Pride and Prejudice on Wednesday), catch a musical, and pack for China.

Meantime I'm just glad I've got no deadlines until the next report. For now, I need sleep!

And yes, as mentioned, I watched Prime. The idea is, a recently divorced woman (Uma Thurman) after 9 years is seeking counseling from her therapist (Meryl Streep), and dates her therapist's son (Bryan Greenberg) along the way. The storyline was interesting, though, I have to admit. Can you imagine dating someone who's 14 years younger/older than you? While I personally might be able to enjoy their company, the implications are just too great for me to find any potential relationship going on.

And anyway, like most Hollywood movies, the story line doesn't follow through all the way. And surprisingly Meryl Streep didn't have much going on for her. I actually thought the whole movie was going to be centred around her. So it was disappointing to see two people whose mindsets can be so darn different have sex.

What got me going was this little point that Meryl Streep made, and that is love is work. True commitment means children, home, employment, relations, etc. But that's just about it.

You know, I do remember that I wanted to write something more. But I guess my brain's not working for today.
